Former Everton striker Francis Jeffers is hoping to kick-start his career with a trial at Premier League newcomers Blackpool.
Francis Jeffers scored five goals in three years for Sheffield Wednesday.
Jeffers, 29, who made his name at Everton before being signed by Arsenal for £8 million in 2001, was released by Sheffield Wednesday at the end of last season after scoring just five league goals in three years for the Owls.
But Blackpool boss Ian Holloway, who is looking to strengthen his side for their maiden Premier League season, is ready to hand the forward another chance in the top flight.
