Devils struck at last minute to draw 3-3
Everton dominated the first half with upto 70%. Coming into the second half, the Red Devils drilled in two to widen the 1-1 score before half time to 3-1. Wonders do happen in soccer, who will tell this better than Fergie himself. Everton responded in the last two minute to too drill two past Van der Sar, and what seemed to have been done for the Devils turned sour forcing them to share points with Everton. The game ended with 3-3!

Injury makes Wolves GK Matt Murray to retire at 29
Wolves goalkeeper Matt Murray has decided to hang up his gloves at the age of 29, following a career blighted with injuries.
The Solihull-born shot-stopper began his career at the club's youth academy, where it was not uncommon for him to miss games owing to being sidelined.
After graduating into the senior squad, the 'keeper was sent out on loan to non-league side Kingstonian 2000, where he sustained a knee injury on his debut.
However, Murray went on to return and produce a series of stellar performances in 2003, which culminated in a Man of the Match performance in the play-off final against Sheffield United as Wolves achieved promotion to the Premier League.
But the next three years proved to be difficult, as the goalkeeper made only seven appearances during this period owing to several injuries.
In November 2008, Murray was loaned out to Hereford United, where he played two games before sustaining a ruptured patella tendon in his right knee while playing against MK Dons.
This injury has now forced him to call time on his career.
A statement on the club's official website reads: "Popular Wolves keeper Matt Murray has today taken the difficult decision to announce his retirement from professional football.
"After a long and arduous road to try and get back to fitness after rupturing his patella tendon, Murray has, at the age of 29, decided he will not be able to recover to the standard required for the professional game.
"Murray this morning informed Wolves boss Mick McCarthy and CEO Jez Moxey of his decision, as well as his team-mates and the medical staff who have given him so much support."

EPL 2 HOT 4 Blackpool coach! He resigns.
We don't the reasons, but all I know is that Karl oyston has resigned as Blackpool manager with immediate effect. Blackpool kicked off their EPL campaign on a high note after killing it with Toutenham and topping the table for some hours before the defending champs-Chelsea overtook them by goal difference. Whatever that will happen to this promising team, only time will tell.

Arsenal target Mark Schwarzer on verge of completing move from Fulham to the Emirate
Arsenal target Mark Schwarzer on verge of completing move from Fulham to the Emirates - report
15 Aug 2010 11:39:00
Fulham 'keeper Mark Schwarzer is on the brink of completing his dream move to Arsenal as crunch talks will take place on Monday.According to The News of the World, the Australian keeper is set to bring an end to his two-year stint at Craven Cottage and a deal will be thrashed out next week.
Schwarzer, 37, will reportedly sign a two-year-deal to join the Gunners, with the fee yet to be agreed.
It is speculated that the former Middlesbrough man will move for around £3 million, and will take the No.1 jersey ahead of Manuel Almunia who has come under fierce criticism following an inconsistent time at the club.
Schwarzer was ruled out of Fulham's opening game of the season at Bolton with a back injury, which means if his protracted move goes through his last game as a Fulham player will have been the Europa Cup final defeat to Atletico Madrid.
Wolfsburg close to £9m deal for Liverpool striker Ryan Babel
Wolfsburg close to £9m deal for Liverpool striker Ryan Babel - report
By Anthony Sciarrino

For all the latest reports and transfer rumours, visit our dedicated section here.Liverpool are close to selling Ryan Babel to Bundesliga side Wolfsburg in a move worth £9 million, according to reports.
Wolfsburg manager Steve McClaren is keen to capture the Netherlands international in order to strengthen his side for their participation in the Europa League this term.
According to The Mirror, negotiations between the two clubs were heating up on Monday, but Babel must accept a move to Germany in order for the deal to be completed.
Babel, who has not impressed since coming to Liverpool from Ajax in 2007, has failed to play an important role under new Reds manager Roy Hodgson thus far.
Birmingham City were also interested in a move for Babel this summer, but it appears that Wolfsburg are the favourites for the Dutchman.
Liverpool to make £3m move for Fulham defender Paul Konchesky
Liverpool to make £3m move for Fulham defender Paul Konchesky - report
18 Aug 2010 09:24:00
Liverpool are believed to be interested in a £3 million deal with Fulham to sign full-back Paul Konchesky. The defender has only one year left on his current contract at Craven Cottage, and has been heavily linked with a move away from the club.
The Reds' desire for a left-back is also believed to be one of the reasons behind a potential approach for the former West Ham United player, who worked under Liverpool manager Roy Hodgson at Craven Cottage.
Hodgson is eager to add cover as Emiliano Insua seems destined to leave Anfield. The young Argentine was on the verge of making a move to Fiorentina earlier in the summer, but the Italian club pulled out citing the player's demands as the cause.
And despite having re-signed Fabio Aurelio, the injury prone nature of the Brazilian set-piece specialist means that Hodgson has little cover for the left-back position.
In the meantime, The Mirror claims that Konchesky - who played no part in Fulham's recent game against Bolton Wanderers - wants to follow his former manager and join the ranks on Merseyside.

Chamakh's late equalizer steal two points from Anfield!
First struck Ngog, Arsenal tried but finding the back of the net proved bullet proof with a defensive Red army! It then landed on Arsenal's new kid Chamakh at 89' when he launch a missile that missed the target to hit the crossbar, but thanks to Pepe Reina who tried to get hold of the ball but punched it into the net instead. It all ended one all, with Arsenal stealing the two points from Liverpool and running away with a deserving one point.

Chelsea vs Manchester United: Community Shield Preview
* Kick-off: Sunday 8 August, 17:00 GMT+3 (East African Time)* Wembley Stadium, London
Chelsea and Manchester United meet in the Community Shield at Wembley on Sunday hoping to collect silverware in their first game of the season.
The Blues secured their first ever Double last season when an emphatic 8-0 win over Wigan Athletic won them the league title for the first time in four years, before a 1-0 victory against Portsmouth at Wembley saw them win the FA Cup for the second successive year.
Meanwhile, Sir Alex Ferguson’s side will be looking to emulate their achievements of the season before last, when they won the Premier League to complete a hat-trick of titles. Last season saw them win the League Cup and finish runners-up to Chelsea in the Premier League, so they will be determined to go at least one better than that. Their task may prove to be more difficult this season, though, as rivals Manchester City have strengthened over the summer and are ready to launch a genuine title challenge.
Both sides have had an indifferent run-up to the new season with players joining up at different times due to their World Cup commitments, but both Carlo Ancelotti and Ferguson have added new players to their squads.
Chelsea have brought in Yossi Benayoun from Liverpool for a fee believed to be in the region of £6 million, and are expected to complete the £18m signing of Benfica’s Ramires in the next few days, while United have signed youngsters Chris Smalling and Javier Hernandez for undisclosed fees.
Ancelotti’s side have had a poor pre-season results wise. A 1-0 win over Crystal Palace has been followed up by three consecutive defeats away to Ajax, Frankfurt and Hamburg, prompting criticism of Ross Turnbull, Hilario and John Terry for defensive errors made in these games.
Manchester United began their pre-season with a tour of America where they beat Celtic, Philadelphia Union and the MLS All-Stars, but losses to Kansas City Wizards and Guadalajara prevented them from leaving the States unbeaten. A 7-1 win over a League of Ireland XI in midweek sends the Red Devils into Sunday’s clash on form and they will be looking to get one over on the Blues, who beat them on penalties at Wembley in last season’s Community Shield.

Fabregas finally Clears the air! He is staying
Cesc Fabregas has today released the following statement:
"Firstly I would like to apologise to all the Arsenal fans for not speaking sooner about my future but I have not known what I was going to do until this moment.
"I cannot deny that joining a club like Barcelona was not an attractive move for me. This was the club where I learnt my football, it is my home town where my friends and family are and a club where I have always dreamed of playing. There are not many players in this world who would not want to play for Barcelona.
"I have had many conversations with Arsène Wenger both in person and over the phone over the last few months and although the content of those conversations will remain private, the conclusion is that Barcelona have had two formal offers rejected by Arsenal.
"I am a professional and I fully understand that it is Arsenal's prerogative not to sell me.
"I owe a lot to the Club, manager and the fans and I will respect their decision and will now concentrate on the new season ahead with Arsenal.
"I can assure all the fans that now the negotiations have ended I will be 100 percent focused on playing for Arsenal.
"I am an Arsenal player and as soon as I step out on to the pitch, that is the only club I will be thinking about.
"I am looking forward to the start of the season and putting this speculation behind me."

The financially struggling outfit are expected to receive a significant cash injection that would wipe away the debt that has been weighing down the club.

Walcott will show You what he can do
Theo Walcott has vowed to “get out there and show people what he can do” this season.
By his own admission the Arsenal striker suffered the biggest disappointment of his career over the summer when he was omitted from England’s squad for the World Cup.
After a head-clearing holiday in America and a solid pre-season, the 21-year-old is now raring to go again. And, apart from missing out on South Africa, Walcott is also motivated by a stop-start campaign in 2009/10.

“It’s all going well, I’m all smiles,” he said.
“The full pre-season will definitely help. It was an on-off season last season and it’s difficult to come back from that. I would just get back and I’d get another injury. I was in double figures last season with injuries. Maybe last year I was thinking about it too much and I was being a bit too timid in games because I was thinking about injury. This year I’m just going to get out there and show people what I can do. It’s all I can do really. Not making the World Cup this year and not playing the last one, even though I didn’t deserve to be there, it’s one of those things - what can I do to improve myself to be there next time? There are always disappointments in football, this was my biggest one yet. But when I found out about not making the England squad, the Arsenal players were really supportive. The first player I had a text from was Nicholas Bendtner and the manager was very supportive too. I was obviously very disappointed not to have made it, but now for the first time in a long time, I have been able to have a rest and a proper pre-season. I am really excited about the season ahead – we were pleased with winning the Emirates Cup last weekend and it’s good to see players like Jack Wilshere coming through and playing so well. It is also exciting to see new players like Marouane Chamakh joining the squad. Capello’s decision came as a massive surprise and dominated the back pages for days. I had the day off so I was on the golf course and I got the phone call,” said Walcott. "I actually missed Mr Capello’s phone call. But I had a voicemail and I had to phone him back. He just said, ‘I’m sorry. I’m not going to bring you to South Africa, but I’ll see you in 2012 for the Euros.’
“I didn’t know what to say at all. He said, ‘have a good break and good luck. I’ll see you soon’. I wished him all the best. Obviously I was disappointed but I wanted the lads to do well because I am an England fan as well. I said good luck and that was it. I will always respect the manager’s decision. If the boss at Arsenal leaves me out of a game, I am always disappointed and I show that. You can’t be happy when you are not there. I always want to be there, no matter what happens. Actually, I did have a tear to be fair with my cousin and my mate. Then I played the best golf ever.”
Now, Walcott’s intention is to follow suit for his football club this season.
Balotelli to cost Manchester City a mammoth £64m
Manchester City will reportedly have to splurge £64 million if they are to sign Inter forward Mario Balotelli.
The teenager's future has been the subject of much speculation, and it has been widely expected that the Italian will make a move to Eastlands during the current transfer window.
However, it had previously been reported that the 19-year-old's outrageous demands of a salary worth £180,000-a-week coupled with an image rights deal had proven to be a stumbling block of sorts with regard to the move reaching fruition.
Now The Daily Express reports that the £64m is the amount that the Citizens will have to spend if they are to sign the player and set aside his wages over a four-year period - which is reported to be the length of the potential contract.
City, meanwhile, continued their sombre pre-season with a 3-1 defeat to Borussia Dortmund.
