Borja Valero on loan from West Brom to VillaReal

West Brom midfielder Borja Valero has joined Villarreal on loan with a view to a permanent deal.

West Bromwich Albion have allowed midfielder Borja Valero to join Villarreal on a season-long loan deal.
The 25-year-old, who joined the Baggies for a club record fee in 2008, has been linked with a return to La Liga throughout the summer but was expected to join Sevilla.
Valero spent last season on loan at former club Real Mallorca following West Brom’s relegation to the Championship and impressed back in Spain, sparking interest from Sevilla, who had a bid turned down last month.
